Pay $X for chore Y. The ledger tracks what each kid has earned. When they want to spend, mark the disbursement and the balance updates.
Daily, weekly, or per-occurrence. Automatically resets each period.
Greenlight and GoHenry require real bank links and ID verification. Chore Chart is just a tracker — you pay your kid however you always have. No third-party financial relationship.
Parents see all kids. Kid mode (PIN-protected on the same device) shows just their own chores and ledger.
Buy lifetime once. Share with the whole family via App Store Family Sharing.
Swarmval apps avoid surprise weekly pricing. The upgrade path is visible before purchase and support links are easy to find.

Chore Chart & Allowance Tracker is planned around local-first handling for files and app data. Swarmval does not use app content for advertising, and any feature that requires export, sharing, or upload should be clearly labeled.
Read privacy policyNo. Chore Chart and Allowance Tracker is a tracker only — it records what chores were done and what allowance is owed. Actual money still moves the way it always has (cash, Venmo from parent, etc.). No bank link, no debit card, no KYC.
Greenlight ($5–15/month plus card fees) is a real debit card and bank account for kids with KYC and parental controls on the financial side. Chore Chart is just the chore + ledger tracking, with no financial product attached. If you do not want a kid debit card, you do not need Greenlight.
Only if you let them. Each kid can have their own PIN-protected view that shows only their chores and ledger. Parents see all kids by default.
Yes. All data lives on-device. No cloud, no account, no analytics. The app collects no personal data.
Same kind of work. Same anti-fleeceware promise.
