Features

Built around the work people actually need to finish.

Per-kid chore lists

Add multiple kids with their own chore lists. Toggle done/not-done daily. Weekly recap shows what got finished.

Allowance ledger

Pay $X for chore Y. The ledger tracks what each kid has earned. When they want to spend, mark the disbursement and the balance updates.

Recurring chores

Daily, weekly, or per-occurrence. Automatically resets each period.

No banking, no debit cards, no KYC

Greenlight and GoHenry require real bank links and ID verification. Chore Chart is just a tracker — you pay your kid however you always have. No third-party financial relationship.

Parent + kid views

Parents see all kids. Kid mode (PIN-protected on the same device) shows just their own chores and ledger.

Family Sharing

Buy lifetime once. Share with the whole family via App Store Family Sharing.

Free vs Pro

Try the workflow first. Upgrade when the limits matter.

Swarmval apps avoid surprise weekly pricing. The upgrade path is visible before purchase and support links are easy to find.

Free

  • Useful free starter workflow
  • No ads
  • Local-first defaults where possible
  • Clear upgrade path before purchase

Pro

  • Higher limits
  • Batch or advanced tools where relevant
  • Full-quality export where relevant
  • Fair monthly, annual, or lifetime options when supported

FAQ
Does this app handle real money? +

No. Chore Chart and Allowance Tracker is a tracker only — it records what chores were done and what allowance is owed. Actual money still moves the way it always has (cash, Venmo from parent, etc.). No bank link, no debit card, no KYC.

How is this different from Greenlight? +

Greenlight ($5–15/month plus card fees) is a real debit card and bank account for kids with KYC and parental controls on the financial side. Chore Chart is just the chore + ledger tracking, with no financial product attached. If you do not want a kid debit card, you do not need Greenlight.

Will my kid see other kids’ chores? +

Only if you let them. Each kid can have their own PIN-protected view that shows only their chores and ledger. Parents see all kids by default.

Is it private? +

Yes. All data lives on-device. No cloud, no account, no analytics. The app collects no personal data.
